如果要对今年5-8月话题评分，五颗星的难度，我觉得它最多只占到了2.5颗星。我对于话题难易的评价更多取决于它是否有超出我既定的框架，但按目前来看，它完全没有超纲，甚至跟之前的内容基本雷同，所以我就不觉得有什么难度。
即便如此，还是会有很多同学说，这次的话题有点难度，不信你看看《海边活动》。
Describe a leisure activity near/on the sea that you want to try

• What it is
• What you need to prepare
• How easy or difficult it is
• And explain why you want to try it
不瞒你们说，我的大部分线下学生也都认为这道题很难。难就难在，能想到的活动非常有限；同时，想要拓展内容又非常局限。
既然如此，我们不如带着这两个问题来具体看一看这个话题，你可能最后会发现它不过是一只“纸老虎”而已。
1. 海边活动可以有的选择
针对海边活动，多数同学思维比较局限，能想到的无非surfing (冲浪)/ diving (潜水)/ swimming (游泳)。除此之外，go fishing (钓鱼)/ go sailing (航海)/ play beach volleyball (沙滩排球)/ build sandcastle (沙堡)/ create sand sculpture (沙雕)/ snorkeling (浮潜)等都是不错的选择。如果你还想来一些新鲜的，和别人不一样的，你也可以了解下以下三种海上活动：
• Windsurfing 风帆冲浪

2. 海边活动细节拓展方向
明确拓展方向的.步要先确定整道题的核心关键词。这道题的关键词不是“sea”也不是“leisure”， 它的核心是“activity”，其他的都不是用来修饰“activity”这个单词的。
既然如此，我们现在就需要明确和“activity”相关的维度，接着我们就可以用这些维度来增加每一小问的小问拓展。
Activity 维度拆分：
5w2h (when/where/who/what/why/how much/ how often)/ organizer/ history/ popularity/ cost/ origin/ regulations/ requirement/ duration/ equipment/ player/ benefits etc.
借助于以上维度，我们将开启整篇话题的分析。
01What it is
在这个话题里，多数同学会忽略.小问的拓展，或者给出大段有关该活动玩法的解析。前者会导致内容过少，后者则会增加表述难度。我会比较推荐的拓展方向有：
-When
它可以指你想要什么时候去玩；它也可以指某项活动适合在什么时候玩。
-Where
你可以去哪些地方玩，比如冲浪.夏威夷，浪大，同时四季温暖。
-Popularity
这项活动是受欢迎还是不受欢迎，具体受欢迎程度是怎么体现出来的？
-Fee
这项活动的收费情况，便宜还是贵？如果贵的话，你需要如何拥有足够的钱去玩？
-Origin/history
这项活动起源于哪个地方？它是什么时候被发明的？（这个点相对专业，如果不是很了解就可以直接忽略，或者百度一下）
Example one：popularity+where
A leisure activity that comes to mind is surfing. It wasn't that common in China decades ago, but now it is has really taken off 开始迅速发展 especially among young people. Some of my friends have tried it. I really would like to try this activity in Hawaii, a beautiful island in the USA. It is warm all year round and it also has huge waves, so it is an ideal place for surfers.
Example two：fee
If it is possible, I really would like to try snorkeling 浮潜. It is now one of the most popular beach activities to do while on holiday. I used to think it was costly, but my friend told me it is very reasonable, especially in countries like Thailand.
02What you need to prepare
至于你需要准备什么东西，我们大致可以分成两部分来思考。
- 和物品有关
这个物品包括活动必备的设备，比如堆沙堡需要准备玩具铁锹、塑料桶等；除此之外，基于海边活动带来的不利影响，我们还需要带上防暑降温的物品，比如防晒霜、防晒衣、药品等。
- 和人有关
你自身也需要准备一些东西，比如心理上的以及技能上的。以冲浪为例，你不仅要让自己变得勇敢，你还需要学一学游泳。虽然有些人觉得学游泳没有必要，但是学会游泳再去冲浪可以让你更加自在的享受这项运动而不用过分恐惧。
Example ：
Actually there are many things I would need to prepare before I tried this sport. Basically, I would need to buy or rent a professional surfboard 冲浪板. At the same time, I would need to wear lots of 防晒霜 to prevent sunburn. And of course I would need to be a strong swimmer as you need to paddle out 把冲浪板滑出浪区 to catch the waves.
03How easy or difficult it is
“难还是简单”类型的问题也常出现在我们的part 2话题里。之前的推文讲解里我有提到过，针对此类小问，我们可以按“主次”或“时间线”进行拓展。
-按主次拆分
我们可以有多种分法，比如：总体而言，是简单的+为什么，但某一部分则会非常有难度+为什么；对于大多数初学者而言，是难的+为什么，对于精通者而言，它则没有任何难度等。
Example ：
Well I don’t think beach volleyball is a difficult activity, especially for me, as I am good at playing volleyball and I have been playing it for over 10 years. I don’t think there are many differences between playing it indoors and on the beach. But I think maybe the weather would make it a little bit more challenging. Playing volleyball in the scorching 灼热的 sun might be quite tough.
-按时间线拆分
随着对一个事物认知的变化，你可能会觉得刚开始它是简单的，后来又发现其实是很难得；反之亦然。
Example ：
Well at first, I thought surfing would be a walk in the park 简单的 as I am pretty good at skateboarding, I thought it would be easy for me to pick it up. However, my friend told me that you need a lot of stamina 耐力 to surf and standing up on the board is no easy task. It took him 3 hours to stand on the board successfully.
04Why you want to try it
至于为什么要去尝试？我们可以从活动自带的功能性着手，比如：社交性&娱乐性。
我个人比较喜欢从社交性着手来阐述活动类主题的话题，因为简单。不同的活动会吸引不同类型的人去尝试，为此，你去尝试这项活动就有可能认识某一批人。
就我个人而言，我很想要尝试冲浪。对于我而言，冲浪可以让我认识一批大胆、敢于冒险的人。鉴于我自身也是如此，我就很开心可以跟志趣相投的人做朋友。
Example ：
I would like to try surfing, not only because it would help me step out of my comfort zone 走出舒适圈 but more importantly, it would give me be an opportunity to make friends with those who are bold 大胆的 and fearless 无畏的. I think they are very intriguing. It would be a very cool thing to learn more about their lives and their passion for the ocean .
除此之外，你也可以从活动本身带来的优势来阐述观点，比如：潜水/浮潜可以让你探索海洋的美；钓鱼可以让你学会耐心和坚持等。
Example ：
The reason why I want to try diving is because it is a good way for me to finish my design portfolio 作品集 about ocean exploration. Now I am a bit lost about how to complete it as I don’t know much about the ocean and have very little experience exploring the deep sea. My teacher suggested I tried diving to get some inspiration. I think if i had the opportunity to dive, the breathtaking scenery and colourful creatures would inspire me and give me the motivation i need.
