Nowadays celebrities are more famous fortheir glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a badexample to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree with thisstatement?
Nowadays young people are admiring mediaand sports stars even though they do not set a good example. Do you think thisis a positive or negative development?
celebrity:A celebrity is someonewho is famous, especially in areas of entertainment such as movie, music,writing or sports.
glamour:the attractive andexciting quality that makes a person, a job or a place seem special, oftenbecause of wealth and status.
Fact
Opinion
“Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealththan for their achievements”
“this sets a badexample to young people”
to what extent do you agree or disagreewith this statement?
This statement
“Do you thinkthis is a positive or negative development” ,
“Nowadaysyoung people are admiring media and sports stars even though they do not set agood example”
1.过分强调名人的财富可能会让年轻人变得特别物质主义,以金钱为导向,变得肤浅;
2.过分关注魅力会让年轻人特别在意容貌和体型,审美变得单一,甚至引起自卑心理;
3.名人的一些不当行为和丑闻可能让年轻人形成扭曲的价值观;
