When mentioning a person who taught me something important, I would say most of my teachers have taught me so many good lessons not just about teaching us standard based content but also how to be a better person. As we all know, teachers spend a lot of time with students throughout the course of the year. They are influential by nature and can have a lasting impact on many students.
For example, we all know that in a class, some students are more naturally gifted than others. Our teachers also understand the situation. When I was a student, I figured out that with the same amount of effort, some of my classmates could always do better than me. Honestly, it was quite depressing sometimes. But most of my teachers would constantly encourage and motivate me to maximize my potential because hard work pays off. Those who work the hardest will finally achieve the most. It is nearly impossible to be successful at anything if you are not willing to work hard.
