课程描述
This course focuses on reading and appreciating English literature. It focuses on fostering critical thinking, reading skills, the clear expression of ideas as well as the ability to interpret and understand major literary works in a variety of genres by appreciating literature besides giving their opinion. Furthermore, the students will be familiarized with the major literary theories.
本课程的重点是阅读和欣赏英国文学。它注重培养批判性思维、阅读技能、清晰的思想表达能力，以及通过欣赏文学作品、发表意见等方式解读和理解各类重要文学作品的能力。此外，学生将熟悉主要的文学理论。
课程目的
◼Familiarize the students with the approaches needed in fostering critical thinking and reading skills.使学生熟悉培养批判性思维和阅读技能所需的方法。
◼Introduce variety of ideas and thoughts of some major literary works.介绍一些主要文学作品的各种观点和思想。
◼Identify figures of speech in literature.识别文学中的修辞格。
◼Present the different criteria of drama assessment.呈现戏剧评价的不同标准。
◼Discuss different literary theories.讨论不同的文学理论。
