当然并不是每个题目都像上面那种情况一样善良，我们也会碰到有代词但用不上或者压根没有代词的情况。
这个时候也不要害怕，可以用上我们在修辞目的题中说过的老朋友——逻辑关系帮我们解题。

Leatherbacks keep their body heat in three different ways. The first, and simplest, is size. 这道题看似可以用我们的老方法代词来做，但操作起来就会发现these animals除了可以帮助我们排除掉第d一个小方块，其实不能直接帮助我们选出答案，因为后三个小方块前面的句子里都有不同的动物。
这时候就要用上我们的新技巧，逻辑分析法。先翻译新句子的意思：然而，这些动物有额外的保持温暖的方法。这里的转折关系however说明在这个新句子的前面是一种保温方法，而在它之后可能会讲另一种保温方法。
根据这个线索，我们可以观察到前面三个小方块里重复出现了gigantothermy这一个方法，而第四个小方块后面说到Muscular activity helps, too一个叫做Muscular activity的方法也能帮忙，那么第四个小方块就是我们要找的答案。
