second full moon(满月)of a month”Since the monthly cycle(the moon goes around the earth) is 29. 5 days， and according to the calendar(日历) ，most of themonthshaveatleast30 days.Therefore， the phenomenon(现象) of two full moons in a month occurs about every 32 months.
However， at the second full moon of a month， the moon may not necessarily be blue.The term“bluemoon39began in 1946.In May
1946， an article was published in Sky and Telescope magazine(《天
空和望远镜》杂志) ， which mistakenly believed that there was an inevitable(不可避免的)link between“blue moon and“the second full moon of a month”.Since then， people have often used blue moon to describe this astronomical phenomenon(天文现象，which occurs only once every 32 months， and extended to describe the rare events.
现代天文学意义上的blue moon(蓝月亮) 指“一个月中的第二
次满月”由于月运周期(月亮绕地球一周)是29.5天，而根据日历，每个月大多都有至少30天，因此，大约每32个月左右会出现一次“一个月两次圆月”现象。
