网络购物是雅思写作中很常出现的一个话题，而且由于跟生活贴近，对同学们来说观点其实很容易展开。
我们先来看好处。
首先，消费者在网上购物，不会受时间和地域限制，也能减少浪费不必要的时间。一方面，线下购物必须花费时间去实体店，且实体店必须开门营业。而线上购物只要有网络，便可以通过电脑或手机浏览商品以及购买，既节约了路程时间，也可以避免地域和时间上的限制，比如半夜12点在家也可以购物。另一方面，在网络上，消费者更容易挑选不同的款式或者货比三家，相较于线下必须跑不同的实体店甚至商场，网上只需要点击进入不同的店面即可，节省了路程花费的时间和精力。
其次，网店相比于实体店，不需要支付高昂的房租成本。因此商家在赚取相同利润的前提下，可以把商品价格定的更低，这意味着消费者可以花更少的钱买到同样的商品。
然后我们来看坏处。
一是网购没法像在实体店那样亲身体验，在购买诸如服饰等可能会买到不合适的商品。虽然可以用退换货的方式来解决，但过程可能花费更多的精力。
二是网络购物一旦遇到虚假宣传甚至诈骗，因为没有实体店，事后追责更加麻烦甚至可能无法追责。而随着网购的日益普遍，网购平台和政府部门也会采取更严格的政策和审核机制来减少不良商家的产生。

It is increasingly common for people to go online to buy what they need rather than going to a shop. Although there are some dangers and disadvantages while shopping on the internet, I believe that it is a positive thing.
First of all, the main advantage is the convenience. People don’t have to go to shopping malls, instead, they can buy whatever they need just with a click of the mouse. Also, they can make their purchase at any time of day or night. This type of shopping is very beneficial for those with hectic lifestyles since it provides a good opportunity to save time and also avoid crowds.
In addition, online purchase tends to help people save money. The first reason is that internet companies don’t need a physical shop, and the products which they sell are often cheaper. Another reason is because customers can easily browse through dozens of different websites to find the best price. Of course, they can do the same at a mall, but it would take about an hour or longer.
However, there are two main problems. One is the Internet fraud. In other words, hackers may copy consumers’ credit card details and steal their money. A further disadvantage is that people cannot examine what they are buying immediately. This means that consumers may buy something they don’t really want.
In conclusion, online shopping has greater advantages due to the convenience and lower price. Although there are some disadvantages, they could be addressed by better management and after-sales service.
