The graph shows the change of percentage of TV and Radio audiences over 4-years old throughout the day during the period October-December 1992.
Firstly, it is noticeable that the percentage of audiences was 3 percent in early morning but it gradually rose up to ten percent at 8:00 am and maintained the same for the next two hours. There was a slight fall in percentage in next two hours however after that it raised sharply unto 20 percent within the next two hours. After this the graph rose very fast and attained its peak at 10 pm which was about forty 5 percent. The graph gradually fell down and at 2:00 am it was at five percent.
Differently, the peak percentage of the radio audiences was at 8:00 am which was about 30 percent. Then it gradually fell and corresponded with the television one at 2 pm. After that it gradually decreased but with a small increase in percentage at 4:30 to 6:00 pm. The percentage of audience then gradually went down and at 4 am, the lowest level at near 2 percent.

The graph shows the change of percentage of TV and Radio audiences over 4-years old throughout the day during the period October-December 1992.
The data indicates that the percentage of radio listeners started at 8% at 7am and increased substantially before 8:00 am, when the percentage amounted to a peak of 27%. The percentage then declined steadily to 11% at 4:00 pm, which was followed by a slight increase to 15% at 5:00 pm. However, from then on, there was again a gradual decrease to 2% until 4:00 am, when the percentage bottomed out. The period from 4:00 am to 6:00 am saw another slight rise to 4% in radio listeners.
Similarly, the percentage of TV viewers went up from 6:00 am to 8:30 am, when there was a leveling off at 8% for the next one hour and a half. After a slight decrease, the percentage rose sharply to 15% between 12 pm and 2 pm with surpassing that of Radio in 1 pm, before it dropped slightly. The peak (45%) was reached at 8:00 pm after a massive rise from 14% since 3:00 pm. However, the period between 8:00 pm and 3:00 am saw a slump in television viewers. The percentage reached the bottom of 3% at 3:00 am, when there was a slight rise afterwards.
In conclusion, the popularity of Radio was higher in the morning while the reverse was true for TV at night.
