专业相关的问题：

1. Do you work or are you a student?
话题开头小问，不需要死命拓展。
先给出最重要的信息, A or B, Yes or No, 再适当给细节。
主要信息：
Currently I am a college student.
补充信息：
I’m now in my final year and I will graduate in june.
It’s my second year and I’ve got two more years to go.
2. What is your major？
回到这一小问，What is your major， 你的专业是啥？
试着用以下两个句式。
1. I’m studying for 学位+专业
I’m studying for a bachelor’s (degree) in Finance.
I’m studying for an MA in Education.
MA=Mater of Arts, 文科硕士
I’m studying for an MS n Computer Science.
MS=Master of Science, 理科硕士
2. I'm studying to become + 未来职业
I’m studying to become a nurse / an accountant
3. Why did you choose this major?
这个问题雷区不少。
大家先想想，自己会怎么回答？

这个专业比较简单，不用学数学，好毕业。
读了以后可以挣大钱。
高考没考好，被调剂的。
文化课成绩不行，只能读艺术类。
父母帮忙选的，自己其实没啥想法。
咳咳。别在口语考试和面试的时候聊这些。
You are not that pathetic.
推荐大家从兴趣和职业规划两个角度出发，两者结合。
1.兴趣
The reason why I opted for this major is because I’ve loved xx（具体领域） ever since I was a kid.
opt for sth 选择
2. 职业规划
Because it fits in perfectly with my career aims
sth fits in perfectly with sth 与..完美契合
I thought that with this major I could learn more about xxx and xxx. （具体领域的知识）This will give me a competitive edge when I graduate and look for a job.
give sb a competitive edge 带来巨大优势
I think that this major will help me to set the stage for my future career.
set the stage for sth 为.. 奠定基础
兴趣+职业规划结合的例子：
I'm studying psychology because I've always been interested in how people think. And I'm hoping to work as a psychologist in the future. I'm really enjoying it. And I find it quite easy because everything is so interesting that it doesn't feel like work.
如果我是面试官，我会期待candidates 具体谈谈这个专业让ta感兴趣的点。比如上面的例子中，ta想学心理学，是因为对人的思考机制感兴趣。
单单说对xx感兴趣很空洞，结合自己专业特点聊聊吧。
4. What subjects are you studying?
还记得刚刚说的那个网站么？
点进去查自己的专业，读一读Review，里面的信息也能够帮助你答好这一小问。
以市场营销专业（marketing）为例。
概览里涵盖了市场营销要学的好多课程。时间有限，点到3-4个主课内容即可。
例：
Well, actually there is a lot for us to take.
We have to learn about the distribution of goods and services, consumer behavior and advertising.
Other subjects also include customer service and new product development.
5. Do you like studying these subjects?
这个问题扎心了。
真心诚意回答“YES”，良心可能会痛。
英文中有没有一种搭配，能够表达那种又爱又恨的复杂感觉？

例：
Well, I really have mixed feelings about them.
On the one hand, I love gaining new knowledge and being updated in the field.
一方面，喜欢获得新知识，跟进所在领域的进展，
But, on the other...
it's hard work because we have to do different subjects. And there's a lot of work for each one. So I don't have much free time.
..if there’s anything I’m not fond of, it is the huge amount of homework and assignment. They are really overwhelming sometimes.
